For administrators
The committee needs the whole picture without chasing leaders for it. In Wampums the numbers, forms and rosters stay current because the work happens in the app: leaders take attendance and collect slips, families fill their own forms, and the committee reads the result.
Fees per child with payment plans, expenses with their receipts, a budget compared with actual spending by category, fundraisers and revenue by fiscal year. Online payment is not turned on: leaders record each payment received, by cash, cheque or e-Transfer, and families see their balance. More on finances.
Health records, allergies, medication and vaccinations; leave-alone and photo consents; missing documents; rosters by group. Every report exports to CSV or prints as PDF, so your records never depend on Wampums staying around.
Roles carry fine-grained permissions: a treasurer can see the finances without opening health forms, and parents see only their own children. A unit can customize a built-in role for itself. Nobody can grant a right they do not hold, and demo accounts are read-only.
Import participants and guardians from CSV files, including an export from SISC. Each scout year is archived when it ends and stays available read-only. When a family asks, a youth’s record is erased.
The app uses your unit’s names for its sections and subgroups: colonies, packs, sixes, patrols. Every screen is in French and English, a unit can add Ukrainian, Italian or Indonesian, and forms are written once in each language.
A single unit uses Wampums free until at least 2028. For an organization opening several units (five or more, say), we agree on a competitive monthly price together.
Each unit’s database and files are hosted in Quebec, at OVHcloud’s Beauharnois data centre. The few outside services, such as Brevo for email, are listed in our privacy policy with what each receives.
Yes. Each permission is separate, so a finance role can manage fees and budgets without reading health records, and the reverse.
